the arrival in Cape Town

After making a stop in Adis Abeba we took another flight to Cape Town, where we arrived at 1.45pm. To pick us up at the airport there is Federico, a boy from Genoa who came with his wife Giulia to South Africa to gain experience, and he is a doctor at the Cape Town hospital. With them, after a quick shower, we went to visit the Muslim district of Bo-Kaap with the houses all colored. Federico told us that in the past years it was forbidden to use color, when the political situation changed, the inhabitants colored the houses in bright and very characteristic tones. Later we went to Waterfront, a beachfront area full of shops and restaurants where we had dinner. I have good memories of South Africa, and this first approach takes me back in time
